So after a month of knowing this cat, a name for her has finally come to me! She’s black and white, and I really wanted to give her a name having to do with the moon, or moonlight. I thought Ayla, because it means moon light (most sites say it means oak tree though), or London, because some people think it means fortress of the moon. Neither really fit. Then I thought Nyla, because it’s pretty, and kind of sounds like Ayla, but that didn’t fit either. Then I started to think maybe I’ll give her a name that represent how she’s a little hunter, how she prowls around, or how she mauls her toy mice. Then I found it finally! Artemis. It’s a mouthful, but it’s perfect! Artemis, Roman Goddess of the Hunt, Forest, Hills, and Moon! It’s perfect!
